About me
Johannes is a father and lifelong software engineer with experience building distributed systems across domains such as file systems, large-scale IoT platforms, and multi-tenant SaaS control planes. At Redpanda Data, he helped design and build Redpanda Cloud, the SaaS control plane behind Redpanda Cloud. He’s passionate about microservices, event-driven architectures, and the Protocol Buffers ecosystem. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family and contributing to open source.
